Today, Secretary Powell will brief the UN Security Council regarding American intelligence that will show Iraq is not complying with UN requirements, intelligence the Iraqis say is fabricated.

In hearings on Capitol Hill, lawmakers were told by Administration officials that North Korea might sell fissile material, possibly complete Bombs, to other entities to raise cash.

Hans Blix told Iraqi officials that, while a date certain for military action has not been set, it is "five minutes till midnight," and the Iraqis had better start turning up information on arms production.

Last November, Saudi Arabia quietly provided a passport and transport to remove a woman from the United States who was supposed to have testified to a grand jury about her husbands terrorist connections.

NASA was warned nine years ago the shuttle could catostrophically fail if debris hit the vital underside area of the craft - the very scenario that is the leading idea being investigated now. NASA made some changes to the fuel tank design, but has noted the foam always "has been a pain."

And in Los Angeles, a city council meeting, which was the last for three council members who were recalled, got out of control. An amateur video has footage of the mayor clocking one of the council members with her handbag, followed by a punch.

We are probably going to go to a 1-roll alert for Washington tomorrow for 2-3 inches. That will flesh out more with tonight's forecast round.

There will be developing off of the VACAPES or the Delmarva peninsula on Friday morning a new LP center. This will deepen as it moves NE, drawing the energy from the LP center that will be traversing across the south of Virginia (southern VA can expect several inches of snow). This new system will not bomb out, but will intensify as it moves toward C. Cod, and will likely drop several inches of snow across interior portions of NJ/NY/CT.

What other options do the demoflops have? They have no Rices, Powells, Rumsfields in their arsenal, they have only the ketchup kerry, wimpy lieberman, shrieking gebhardt. pretty-boy edwards and dippy dean representing them. When this group is put in a paper bag, shaken, the one pulled out will be no different than the ones left in the bag.
