A new study by the Institute for Justice, a libertarian public-interest law firm in Washington, D.C., details more than 10,000 recent cases in which state and local governments have condemned or threatened to condemn property to obtain land for private parties such as Costco.

Hate Speech

She’s never going to go away. Just when you think...
Like the mosquitoes that plague us every summer, they’ll always be there waiting for another chance to feed on us.
We'd just as soon move past the Clinton years, but if its partisans are going to rewrite history, someone has to keep track of the billing records. Now Senator Clinton has Presidential ambitions, and her memoir is being portrayed as an attempt to clear away the 1990s for her White House run. If she really wants to be trusted in the future, she could start by being more honest about the past.
The answer to the stupid lady's question is: You don't know. Any thug may have a gun. This law makes it more likely that an honest and public spirited citizen may have one.
The UN is a joke, just a place to eat up our money and let a bunch of terrorist supporters feel like royalty while enjoying immunity from any crimes the commit here...

This Roadmap is utterly absurd. What would it accomplish? It would reward terrorists with their own state, it would create another very repressive Middle East dictatorship, and it would create another terrorist state right next door on the border to Israel. What possible good could come out of any of that? None. The last thing it would produce is peace.

...it was the Clinton-Gore natural-gas production and extraction (effective) prohibition at the same time that their enviro buddies insisted that we use only natural gas that triggered the Clinton-Gore recession.

This should be entitled How to Insult the Electorate 101...
This "overturn elections" is the same crap we heard during Clinton's impeachment. If it's "wrong" to do this stuff then why is it explicitly spelled out and provided for in the Constitution?

Its called redundant laziness. Thank your lovely labor unions for this tenured bloated government employee nightmare.
So the little chipmonk governor wants to disarm the citizens then fire all the cops?
The point to remember is that what the government gives, it must first take away."-
"Things start to improve, local budgets are stabilized, businesses see a pickup, the GOP candidate for Boxer's seat wins hands down. California gets back their conservative electorate and returns to fiscal sanity. "
An elegant skewering. Jeb is getting pretty bold...
Thursday's funeral procession was attended by about 35,000, who chanted: "Abu Mazen, listen closely. There is nothing except jihad (holy war)."
She's not only cold, calculating and corrupt, she's utterly insane.
I can stomach reading things I disagree with -- but I can't bear reading cant and transparent lies that most libs shovel.

Arab Journalistic Honesty
Kinda like Clinton scruples?
Don't hold your breath waiting for this to be mentioned in any of the... news media outlets.
Interesting that this outfit thinks that in this case, he was given a harsh sentence because of his thoughts or beliefs about sellers of SUVs or oil companies, yet they have no problem with special status for what they call "hate crimes", also based on the alleged violator's thoughts or beliefs...

FWIW, down here in Jacksonville (very conservative/patriotic/pro-military area) they apparently can't give the things away. Those that HAVE sold, I'm told, are being propped up on boards at 100 yards and used to calibrate scopes and iron sights on rifles.
Maybe after the New York Times fiasco, this is the new interactive news reporting. :-)) We tell you the facts, you make up your own mind...
First it was reported that 177,000 itens were missing. Now we know that only a couple dozen artifacts were taken. Sounds like the NYTs was in charge of reporting this one.
That's right.....it was a huge story when first reported, but the actual truth of the matter gets no coverage, because it doesn't suit liberal needs...
"If you think medical care is expensive now...
...wait 'til it's free."
"Of course we need to be ganging up on these terrorists. My God we have to stop these people before they spread their filth across the globe. You've heard of communism before Neil...this is known as Islamunism. We need to take sides here Neil. We are going to take the side of righteousness. If that crap happens over here, we will turn that whole place into a parking lot"

(1) throw more money at a problem
(2) misappropriate funds skillfully
(3) hoodwink (dumbed down) public on an issue of finance
(4) feign concern for an issue which involves the squandering of vast sums of money
These words should send a chill down the spines of every parent in Mass.

On Assisted Suicide
The Rational Argumentator ^ | June 14, 2003 | John Walker
The situation in Holland is already well known. Even when patients have explicitly insisted that they be kept alive, and even when their own physicians have supported that decision, people have been put to death because others knew "better" — or wanted to open up bed space more quickly.
Paul Greenberg is an Arkansas treasure. He has captured the feelings of many of us about the never ending saga of the grifter and grifteress.

American Psychiatric Association Now Wants To Normalize Pedophilia
San Francis, June 10, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com)
July 10, 1999 | I have no idea whether Mumia Abu-Jamal killed Philadelphia police officer Daniel Faulkner in 1981. Vanity Fair's new revelation -- that a visitor says Abu-Jamal admitted the murder in a prison conversation in the early 1990s -- doesn't necessarily prove his guilt (though the well-researched article doesn't leave lots of room for doubt). In fact, the revelation of Abu-Jamal's private conversation with a visitor made me feel a tad sorry for the celebrated prisoner, who's been embraced by the loony left as though he was the reincarnation of the Rosenbergs, Huey Newton and George Jackson combined.

"It says something about the ideological motivations and allegiances of such people that after only two months of searches, they are ready to declare conclusively that the weapons issue was a propaganda tool. Yet after four months of U.N. inspections, they demanded more time to search for weapons -- weapons they now claim never existed."
