DONNA Brazile, chief adviser to Al Gore during his presidential campaign, now doing a book for Simon & Schuster. Due spring 2004. Before the elections. "I'm dishing it out," she says. "I've worked with the best - Mondale, Geraldine Ferraro, Gore." So what's she going to call this dishing out? "Cooking With Grease: Stirring the Pot in American Politics." So she writing it herself? "Girl," she told me, "I am doing every word." Right. I did not tell Miss Donna I'd heard that a judge once declared Mr. Gore "legally bland."
A REBUILDING CZAR?

February 3, 2003 -- AS someone who lives near and works in New York City, [ha ha ha] I follow the news about the rebuilding of Lower Manhattan with great interest. I don't have a favorite plan for what should arise from the ashes of Ground Zero, but I have been impressed by the recent imaginative designs and the public's desire to ensure that whatever is built will speak to the ages about what happened to the city on 9/11 and how strongly New York and America rebounded from that tragic day. link to drivel
