100% for asthma and autism, huh?

Yeah Huh!

Autism: "Concordance rates among identical twins are estimated to be approximately 60%, but have been reported to be as high as 95%."

“However, Schellenberg points out, a concordance rate ***less than 100 percent*** suggests additional, as yet unidentified, environmental factors may play some role.”

Asthma: "The table shows, however, that instead of a 100% concordance, there is only a 59% concordance between identical twins."

(Because identical twins ***have the same genes***.) In other words, the "concordance rate" should be 100%.

So unless you’re prepared to demonstrate which genetic marker is different, and your cites DON’T and CAN’T, let’s just go with the industry standard that identical twins are identical unless you want to debate phenotype. OK?

As far as how it's "proven". DZ twins share only 50% of their DNA, same as any pair of siblings.

Right, good so far.

A single mutated gene out of how many genes in humans?

Not ALL are checked, in fact ONLY 14 to 16 are so this assertion is mute.

Close enough that we're not going to be seeing a third twin category -- they are "identical".

Wrong again, YES there is! They're called Polar Body Twins. And yet you’ve still not established that your article has proven the “Brazilian twins” are not DZ.

Hmm... who's more reliable: the University of Iowa studying a condition with no political or moral implications, or some git with a mission on a chatboard?
