'Britney is in talks with the movie studio bosses and is delighted about starring in the next Die Hard film,' a source has told the London Mirror.
'Being a big fan of Bruce Willis helps and she cant wait to star alongside him'.
The script calls for John McLaine to rescue Ms. Spears after she is kidmapped by a gang of criminals, though Bruce Willis character finally dies in the film.
The part would be Ms. Spears first since her movie debut in the floppish 'Crossroads.'
As we reported Spears has been swanning around the Sundance film festival cozying up to every filmmaker in sight.

I think Britney has made some subtle pro-Conservative statements, but her managers know that you have to keep that kind of stuff quiet in Hollywood.

As far as stupid comments, she once did remark that she favored the death penalty, as 'it will make them think twice about doing something like that again'. However, she has remained blissfully clueless about what is going on in the world. There was a hilarious article in theonion a few months back: "Tara Reid Handlers Desperate to Prevent Political Awakening" about how much more annoying Tara would be if she had any opinions at all on world events. Thankfully, Britney is showing no signs of having any opinions about anything whatsoever.
