The reason we Southern sun lovers let you ice pansies "win" the War of Northern Aggression is so that you would go back and stay there in your icy home. Unfortunately, you all wised up when you saw the Canadians headed south each winter. Now you do the same. I have to fight my way to the beach through hoards of sickly pale folk from states such as Wisconsin and Michigan. It is almost too much to bear.

Poor baby!! I know what you mean tho. I live in a resort type area in B.C. and all summer long we have to fight the motorhomes and campers and extra traffic ALL vacationing here from the East. It takes an extra hour of fighting traffic to get home from work each night. GRRRR

I've met a lot of nice people here from Canada and our northern states. Surprisingly though, they seem less eager to get out to the beach on cool days than I would have thought.

It took took 6 weeks to make a 100 square yard cement parking lot... with a crew of twenty guys.

I watched a crew install precast concrete curbing along one side of 3 miles of road in Britain...Dig a small trench, drop in a 3 or 4 ft section...They worked at it for 3 months...Still wasn't finished...
