Manute Bol used to block a lot of shots too. Shaq still scored 30 on Yao and he only had 10 rebounds. The guy was not a factor in the game. Stevie Francis was the stud.

Yao is doing very well for a first year center, but let's not put him in the Hall of Fame just yet.

Oh please, let's not compare Yao to Manute Bol, except in terms of shot blocking ability. Yao is already lightyears ahead of Manute in every other respect as a player.

Yao didn't have a big point total in tonight's game, but he was a real factor. The Rockets would not have won the game without him. Just look at impact Yao has had on the Rockets this year. Even with Francis they were nowhere near a playoff team last year. Yao makes them a team that other teams will fear in the playoffs.
