Last night Al was standing next to a very fat fellow
at a urinal when suddenly for no discernible reason he
confided in him that he "hadn't seen his thing in
15 years".
Not knowing why he suddenly decided to confide such
personal information to a complete stranger, and not
knowing what else to say and wanting to be
helpful, Al said, "Why don't you diet?"
Giving Al a surprised sideways stare, he said,
"Dye it? What color is it now?

What a day. Miss Candy hurt herself running at warp speed out in the woods this morning. The ground is frozen, thus she tore out a nail on one foot and injured two other feet. The vet patched her up and now she's dancing around on two bandaged feet. Poor little thing. :-(

Oh the poor baby... Is she mostly a house dog? Her feet are probably too tender for that hard ground..and if they are cold they can't feel the hurt..

She loves to run at full tilt and she puts her heart into it. Sometimes she wipes out. We have an invisible fence around the property, so she has free reign within a confined space.
She's so pathetic with these bandages on her feet...
How goes your bamboo? ;-)
To: Kathleen
Oh I'll bet she's playing it up real good.. lol.. They are such babies when they hurt themselves and can't get enough sympathy... (sort of like me..) ;)
My Bamboo is just about finished.. I just got a stepladder to finish the top that I couldn't reach. I think I"m going to add something to the other wall on the left..you see it's in a small corner.
I just got over a bellyache from the pills I'm taking.. I can't take anything, even aspirin..and have it settle well.. So I'm hoping I can finish it today.. If not, there is always tomorrow..
To: Kathleen
I am adding a bamboo perch and a Toucan. I'm going for broke.. ;)
To: grannie9
And you'll post pics of your completed work, of course? ;-)
To: Kathleen; Darksheare
So far, my Toucan looks like a Penquin with no tail.. I will carry on..
Where's Darks when I need him? ;)
To: Kathleen
If it ends up looking like a Toucan.. I will post it.. lol
To: Kathleen
Ok.. I still have plants to put below..but the boid is finished... I think.. You never know with paintings..;)

My uncle today was going down memory lane, showing pics of a summer spent in Portsmouth, 1937, at a beach called ? Points..grrrr...that was right beside an Army base and he and my father got to watch when a sub sank and it got raised and all the crew saved. It was a very famous event.
He also pointed out the spot you and Al would go paaawking.....
To: grannie9
Pretty good stuff...you did the right house, of course?
Paint a Doberman by the front window just to let the neighbours know not to mess with ya...
To: habs4ever
I don't recall any Army Base.. There is the Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth..and there were some places in Kittery.. The Airforce would have been Pease, I guess.. It wasn't Ordion Point? That is a beach..right in Portsmouth..
That was a lousy year. I wasn't born until 38.. ;)
To: habs4ever
Ahhhh, good idea.. Out on the front porch.. Heh, heh, heh..
I don't do dogs.. ;)

They were south of Portsmouth, on the ocean.
To: habs4ever
Sounds like Ordion Point.. if you were still in Portsmouth.. It's the only Point I can think of off hand..
You don't mean Rye do you? There are a lot of Points I suppose..
In your case.. it's the point of no return.. ;)
To: grannie9
I was out running the roads ala "Big Basd Wolf"...
I think little red riding hood got me instead, though. Right now I'm typing this with my tongue while tied up for a bit.
Don't worry, I can get out of this.
