WHOA! Looks like DFW area is outnumbering Houston's numbers today, LOL!
So I'm here to stand up for Houston...
FAR W Houston (Alief area no-no!)
W, NW, Far NW are fantastic areas with all the amenities you could ever wish for.
Not sure about Reformed churches tho... We attend a Bible Church.
Tons of home schoolers, tons of CCW people. I know I'm going to get flak for this, but among my contemporaries, it's understood that the Dallas area is more "stuck up" than Houston area. Lots of "old money" in Dallas, lots of mavericks in Houston - generally speaking of course! ;-)
Ok... Bring on the flames, all you Dallasites, LOL!

Being from Fort Worth, you are correct about Dallas. They are much more cosmopolitan than Fort Worth (they think we are common) but we, as well as Houston, have a lot of old money. And the Bass Bros.(Fort Worth)started out as old, being that they are Sid Richarson's great nephews. Dallas is a fun place; but sometimes it's too fast paced. The rivalry was started by Amon Carter, Sr. who also labled Fort Worth as "where the west begins". I believe that honor belongs to Midland-Odessa, since we are pretty east in Texas. Even Dallas is more west than we are. But I like all of them. And they are just as different as they are the same.
