Early in 2001 I called anonymously to the 911 emergency number in Stuart, Florida. This was a question and answer session with a woman on the phone. I could give you a detailed account of how the conversation went, but basically I told her clearly that I had good reason to believe that there was a guerrilla or terrorist organization in this area, and that they were planning attacks and using airplanes. I kept it short, hung up the phone when she asked me my name, and left the phone booth area immediately. It might seem strange to you. I do not know. But I was born in Stuart in 1949, and raised here. If you had any idea how brutal, terrorist, backwards, and criminally offensive these local and state regimes could be, you would know why I did not trust them enough to bring the full information to them face-to-face.
