when they arrived on Friday evening, we had xspup on the leash and were very anxious to see how BIL would be received. They have a worthless little freak dog of a Westie at home, and i guess xspup smelled the freak dog on BIL's clothing and was fine, wagging tail etc. We were very pleasantly surprised.

Sat AM, i guess i was in the shower, xshub was out at hockey with xsboy. BIL exits the guest room, to find xspup in the upstairs hallway, fangs bared and in the crouch mode... BIL calls for assistance. Xsbrownie pulls xspup away and puts him outside. BIL spends rest of weekend in abject terror. last evening, we had him back on the leash, pleasantly coexisting with BIL again. Kids are in xsboy's room playing video games, xspup is hangign with them. BIL pops into the room unbidden, xspup launches himself onto pantleg...

Thank the Lord the houseguests are departing this AM.
