I now am the proud owner of a digital camera; hubby bought me one for Christmas. I think I'm learning all the dials, menus, modes and functions now. Whew! I also managed to download some test images onto my computer, in spite of the inadequate instructions. I have Nikon Coolpix 5700. It was expensive. I think that means I won't be getting my Kimber target pistol for quite awhile now. Oh well. We all make choices in life.

oooooh - you are going to have so much fun learning to play with that camera... and instant gratification when you can download the pics without waiting for or paying for processing. There's no reason not to photograph each subject from every angle and in every lighting condition... so much experimentation. I'm getting dizzy......

We are going to have a stretch of good weather. I'm going to try to get out of the house and see if I can get some photos. Yes, it IS something I can shoot with. I'm thinking of taking photos of my pistols, just for practice.

My biggest problem is learning what all the icons in all the menus mean! I'm going to have to make little cheat-sheets so I don't have to keep looking them up. I know! I'll make flash cards, and give them to husband. He can hold them up and see if I get them right!
