Hey, Miss Marple.....I posted this elsewhere for you, but in case you don't see it......
OH, my GOODNESS!!! The TWO TOWERS is FANTASTIC!!!
Our whole family went to see it last night.......daughter 2 had seen it twice before, and the other kids once, and we watched the extended version of "Fellowship" on Christmas Day for review (much better than the theatre version).......
I thought TTT was WAY better than the first one because of the incredible spiritual symbolism in it in the fight of good against evil......the battle between the good/evil nature of man in Gollum (Romans 7), the incredible Gandalf scene on the white horse and sword right out of Revelation, the fact that we must fight evil regardless of it's convenience ("There will be no Shire" if we ignore this).
AMAZING MOVIE!!! I LOVED it!!!

Yes, I'm pretty sure that's about right. Seoul is basically in northern South Korea and has a population of well over 10 million, I think. I have a lot of Korean friends and the guys do military service for 2+ years. They all seem to have stories to tell about stuff that's happened along the DMZ.
My last 4 years in China were spent in a province north of North Korea. I actually met about 6 guys from North Korea who were studying Chinese at a nearby university. One of them had the job of watching the other 5 and reporting on all they did. They got kicked out of a bar once for fighting, but I'm sure that went unreported. However, talking to me probably did get reported.

I'm surprised you want to start undecorating already.Well, my schedule is pretty heavy after Sunday. I'd rather do it right, than quick.
I'm also anxious to return my collection of Grandbaby pics to the mantle. I've had enuf of this Nutcracker & Candle glitz. It's time to get back to reality.

I am afraid we are going to have to pay the North a visit. If they don't pay us a visit first.
To: Mr. Mulliner
Mr.M you have spent time in Asia..you sort of know their mindset....do you think the North Koreans would launch a nuke at us and hit L.A???
Is Kim the nitwit that unstable??

I really don't think anyone knows for sure just how far North Korea would go. That country is totally nuts and Kim, in my uninformed opinion, is at least as nuts and determined to get nukes as Saddam.
I do know Koreans pretty well and think they are just about the most determined people in the world. They will face unbelievable hardships to accomplish their goals. North Koreans, due to their extreme conditions, are probably even more willing to face anything to attain their goals than South Koreans are. That's scary.
I'm told that North Korea has sent people to the Middle East to train many terrorists in a particular kind of hand-to-hand combat that Korea is known for (probably tae-kwon-do). Mixing the North Koreans with Middle East terrorists is a really bad idea for sure.

Does anyone here know much about
KAZAA?

I'm off to run some errands in town. We spent almost $500 on furniture yesterday, but still need a dresser for the two younger girls and some other things. Hopefully Walmart will be somewhat sane so I can get what I need without getting caught in long check-out lines.

Good morning!
Mrs. Chairman took quite a few pictures of Rhinebeck yesterday as it was digging out from the nor'easter. They came out nice. It would take too much to get them up on the net from here - I'm using my dad's computer, and it's dial-up. It would be too slow to upload, etc. Maybe after I get back.
Weather is nicer now, and "s" is beginning to melt. But it will probably be June with all that is around before it is all gone.

the slow 26kps is what I did have but the comwavz is absouletly flying done a speed check this morning and was getting 1404kps now it has slowed down to 841kps.Still a much needed improvement over dial up.

I'm a bit torn about who I want to take out first.
Taking out Iraq: Will lead to democracy in the Middle East. Will secure the oil supplies needed to revive the economy. Will put a dent in terrorism. Will guarantee Israel's security.
Taking out North Korea: Stops a nuclear power before they attack the US. Will protect two of America's largest trading partners(South Korea and Japan). Puts more pressure on Nazi China. Will put a dent in terrorism.
Both just look so tempting right now.

Good morning Neets. You're doing fine. There's been a bombing in Chechnya that has killed 40.

Here is a fascinating piece on The Raemullians (sp?) who are supposed to have done the cloning. Whenever you think things can't get any weirder, up pops something like this:
