Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
We are still trying to dig out from under our Nor'easter here.
We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]

Good morning...sorry I was so late this morning, but someone re-arranged the computer area and has moved the computer into a rather unaccessable area in her room...
I'll be posting later in the afternoon when I get to PA and we have peace and quiet and room to post.

Good morning! Snow still on the ground here. There is an old saying that if the snow stays on the ground a week, you will get more snow. I am going to test that theory this week.

High speed connections will probably come to my area of the Boondocks in about 30 years. I wonder if I'll still be Freeping at age 90?
To: Miss Marple
I hope your theory is wrong. I still haven't found the gravel in my driveway.

Temps will be nearing 50 degrees here today, according to the weather dude. I had planned to begin the Undecorating Process today. I may rethink those plans and do some outside details instead. Weather like this should be savored and enjoyed this time of year.

Went up to the farm yesterday, staked out my garden, found a place to get some 'horse stuff', I need a disc but don't want to spend the money but probally will anyway, could use it to cut firebreaks around the farm, garden, and a million other things I am sure. Was going to buy two of them but I didn't win the lottery so, shot the heck out of those plans.
Just a little 'farm talk' bwtween us farmers you know. Good morning to you kind lady.

I thought the same thing then I heard about the company I am going thru
It is done by putting an antennae on the roof that picks up
signals from a tower about twelve miles away.I have a feeling that if word gets
out about how well this works more companys will start to pop up
This one only does northwest Ohio right now. They also kind of creep in to that state up north.

I have a question for you, others as well. I need a good book on canning and freezing veggies, know of a good one?
To: Neets
Off to d house for that cup # 2, be back in a bit.

I predict Hillary will ban the Free Republic as her first act of her Presidency.
To: The Raven
Hillary... President??? Now that is NOT a pleasant thought. In fact it would be worse than when her lame brain husband was in the White House.

Go to your USDA Extension Office. Typically, they have a wall of leaflets and brochures. There will be info on proper canning and freezing techniques. Also, there is a very good direction book in the large pressure canners which used to be sold in hardware stores like TruValue or Coast to Coast.
I bought my pressure canner more than 30 years ago. I have lost the instruction book, and it has been so long since I've used it, I would have to go to the Extension Office for assistance if I ever failed a sanity test and decided I would can something.
The Extension Office is a wonderful resource for all kinds of information. It is good to make friends with them. You know how to do that, I'm sure.

Morning Nita.
We will probably lose what remaining snow we have today, as temps are going toclimb into the low 40's. Wow!

I just don't see Hillary ever getting the votes to pull off any presidency. There is just too much disdain for this evil woman.
I know so many Dems that just hate her.

Interesting about the antenna on your roof for High Speed access. I will watch for a similar thing here. The Iowa Farm Bureau has begun providing internet access in some areas of the state where there isn't competition. I may mention the antena thing to them.
That could be almost as exciting as when the REC brought electricity to these parts.
