Oooh, this will be a fun one, no? How about some stuff like M&Ms or some of the little candy coated chocolate easter eggs (Hershey makes some, I know)...chocolate, but hopefully less melty than candy bars? And drink mixes for sure. That's a good one.

There are such things as "tropical" chocolate bars. They're made with different types of fats, and don't melt. They taste like semi-sweet chocolate, and are pretty good, because I've had them. They're available at bigger camping stores, and probably online. If anyone thinks this is a good idea, I can shop around for a deal, like a case or something.

I think it is a good idea... I think they have more wax in them, but they taste good!

Yep, you're right. I've had those too. Didn't even think of those! Definitely worth looking into, though they ARE somewhat expensive, I think.

That sounds like a great idea!

Yes, drink mixes. Sweetened tea mix, lemonade mix, sweetened cool-aid mix. They may not be name brand, but I bet a I can get a bunch of it at Big Lot's or something.

From what I understand, the water isn't very tasty.
