I am so thrilled that my friend made it to Free Republic. He needs this place.

I've been here since Nov, 3, 2000 and can not imagine how a conservative in California could make it through the election, the 9/11 attacks, the beginning of the war in Afghanistan and all the other things we've endured in the last couple of years without Free Republic!

My dad went through that a year or two ago. Really painful and slow recovery!
