The Hobbit Hole III - Journey to the Cross-roads!

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

(The word bulldozer wandered through his mind in search of something to connect with.)
To: RMDupree
He can't say much though because he feeds my obsession. He was the one who bought me a new copy of the complete trilogy after the FoTR release, the theatrical version (the same day it came out), the Extended Version (with bookends - again, the same day it came out), the Evenstar and Nenya for Christmas and the FoTR CD-Rom game for my birthday! Now, I might could consider having a husband again if it worked like that!!!!

I think the evidence, as presented, speaks for itself!

(The bulldozer outside the kitchen window was quite a big one.)
To: RMDupree; Overtaxed
Hey! My sneakers have a bid on them. Except the bid came from a friend on C and F and I feel bad about taking the money, especially since so many people have sent me whistles!
To: 2Jedismom
Welcome back, 2J!
How was WalMart?
As for the sneakers, you did the finding/carrying home of the sneakers (the hard part) so you should be awarded something for that! *grin*
To: Wneighbor
Now, I might could consider having a husband again if it worked like that!!!! LOL!
To: RMDupree
Still, I hope someone I don't know outbids him! LOL
Walmart was great! They had a booth set up with a game where they gave you a bunch of cards with prices on them and if you matched so many cards correctly to the product that cost that much, then you got a prize. The more you got correct, the better prize you won! I got them all correct and the reps were shocked!! I got a cool tee shirt that says "Suave Smart Shopper" in huge pink on the back. I'll take a picture later.
Also got the boy's hair cut there and it is sooooo cute!

I have Verizon as my cell phone carrier and they send me LoTR trivia, polls, etc.
Today's retarded poll question is:
In this crazy battle, who would win?
A) Aragorn
B) The Terminator
*sigh* So instead of some great trivia, today I got this caca-poo.
To: 2Jedismom
Since you got all of them right, the least they should have given you was a gift card or something! LOL!
I'm a T-shirt junkie though, so if it were me, I probably would have taken the shirt anyway. ;)
To: RMDupree
Oh, and they gave me a coupon for a free portrait package, so I'm going back to have the boys picture taken right now. (I'm at moms)
More free samples! I love grand openings!
To: RMDupree
LOL I have no idea where I'll wear a tee shirt with Suave Smart Shopper huge in pink on the back...but I was still pleased that I got them all correct. I love contests, you know and loved seeing the astounded looks on their faces when I got them all right. Of course, my parents were cracking up...it embarrasses them and pleases them all at once.
See you later!
To: HairOfTheDog
LOL, no no.
To: 2Jedismom
I love sweepstaking!
Yesterday, I found out that I won a year's subscription to Nintendo Power Magazine. I'm giving it to my 7 year old nephew, who just got a GameCube for Christmas.
I was going for the grand prize of course (TV, DVD player, GameCube, Home Theatre, stereo home entertainment package thing), but any win is a good win for me. I get my postage money back in spades!
To: 2Jedismom
Oh take the money! :)
To: 2Jedismom
I have no idea where I'll wear a tee shirt with Suave Smart Shopper huge in pink on the backAt Entmoot, of course! We already know the story behind it. :)
To: RMDupree
I'm diligently trying to keep up with all that's going on here in my spare minutes. Anything good that I missed? That I NEED to be aware of?
Only comment necesary so far is.........
Okay I don't care what kind of pie it is... I want some
Whatever topping is available... I want some of all
And if there's no topping for the pie.... that's fine I'll just have extra pie.

Mostly chit-chat lately. Hair posted a nice pic from RoTK on the spoiler thread.
Other than that, have all the pie you like! And toppings too!
