Good Morning!
It is nearly 10:00 and I have managed to pull myself out of bed! (well, I fed horses at 5:00 and went back to bed)
I was up late last night.... or rather, I was still up very early. Couldn't sleep!

Ran out of chamomile tea, huh? hehehehe.
Here, have some coffee and breakfast. We'll have you right as rain in no time.:)

Morning all. This is not a work day for me. So, I'm in the office having fun. Myranda is here with me. We are taking advantage of several computers in the classroom all at once to play.
Hope everyone has had a nice weekend. I don't have a web connection at home right now so am limited to work till I get one again. Now, I've got 2 days of posts to catch up on.

Thank you! - I got your note about Frodo being delayed... Its the holiday.
The link doesn't work though.... you might have to just give me the tracking number.
Where is Gidget getting all these little green army men? She has brought me 3 of them out of the yard the last few days.

The Two Towers won NOTHING at the Golden Globes, you are correct! When they did pan to Sean Astin in the audience... I did see that Barrie Osborne, the producer, was there with him also, but PJ wasn't, and no other cast that I saw... Oh - except Cate Blanchet, she presented an award.

Maybe she saw Signs and was inspired!

I've seen Viggo all shaved and cleaned up and I'm sorry, but I don't think he's attractive at all!Well if the 'death scenes' in TTT are any indication, he won't have had his hair cut or his beard shaved. You're right, he is much more attractive with the long hair and beard!

OOPS! I thought you said "little green men".
Didn't notice the word "army" until it was too late.
To: Dawntreader
Fly Away Home...that's the one about the ducks...or geese, right? Yes that's it. The screenwriters took a LOT of liberties with the original story, but it is a very cute, feel good movie!

I think the child of a former resident here must have buried a cache of lttle green army men in the yard somewhere.

They better not get shafted at the Oscars. I'm telling you....The Hours, About Schmidt, etc, etc....yeah the story might be good and the acting great. But those types of movies are all THE SAME! How often are movies like LOTR made? Well..made good anyway? Hardly ever! I'm just so mad at the same old same old winning all the time.
And if they give that Oscar to another director again I'll be fuming. (Although they might be saving it all up for ROTK, the idiots.) No director has done as much work as Jackson did for these 3 movies. And I think he should get the credit he deserves for each one.

Mmmmmmm, salsa. I still have a bottle of home-made salsa from Wneighbor... it is wonderful! I hereby nominate Wneighbor to supply salsa to the Entmoot! I will volunteer to bring salsa. With airport regulations being what they are now I may have to pre-ship several barrels to ksen though.
Have any good tortilla chips?
Plain old friend tortillas? Well, for all of us that would be a humongous undertaking. How about Regular Tostitos? Not them healthy baked ones though.

that one, with Val Kilmer, where 2 lions were terrorizing a crew that was building a railroad. Forget the name of it.That was a GOOD one. It was "The Ghost and the Darkness".
We were speaking of Viggo earlier; his first major film was "Witness". He was the young Amish man for whom the barn was being built, I think. He was also "Weps", the weapons officer in "Crimson Tide".

TTT will get a bunch of nominations, but I don't think will win BIG until the third year.... RoTK, unless it tanks (HA!) will win Best Picture, Best Director, and at least one actor award...
