Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Say...maybe I'm not crazy?? Bite your tongue and repent of those words! We must not lose our identity in the maddness of implosion.

dump a drained can of tuna in a bowl, drizzle with tabasco and eat with Ritz crackersI kinda figgered I'd get some negative feedback on that one. But, dang, good is good! I like that with a pickle and sliced fresh tomato.

My favorite .. SARDINES smothered with hot Beer-n-Brat mustard .. on ritz crackers .. yummmmmmmmmmmmmmy
and good morning everyone!
To: proud_2_B_texasgal
I've graduated from tuna to sardines and kippers...but haven't tried the mustard thing. Considering how much I like hot mustard, maybe I'll give that a shot!

There are other Gondorian traits you know. (at least I think there are - aren't there ksen?)I'm married now so it wouldn't be appropriate for me to say.

Only like King Oscar sardines, though...seems like most of the other brands are nasty.

Does he need a choreographer?Gondor needs no choreographer........
Well, at least the royal family doesn't. They have a natural flittiness from their Elvish side.

I'm married now so it wouldn't be appropriate for me to say. ahh. I guess I was incorrcect and that photo of Faramir carrying out the garbage really was a fake. I *mistakenly* thought maybe Gondorian men really did stuff like that. My bad. :-)

I haven't heard of the brand mentioned, but I have hot horseradish mustard at home that's realllly good - a local family makes it and sells it at the farmer's market in town. It'll make your eyes water, but boy is it good! And I have a couple tins of sardines in the cabinet now.
Methinks I know what's for dinner...
To: RosieCotton; Wneighbor
You can buy them with mustard on them, but I prefer to buy them in oil, then put the hot mustard on them myself .. yum yum ...
my dad and i enjoyed this together during my trip to fla ..
(he also had me massage his feet .. but THAT is another story .. lol)

They have a natural flittiness from their Elvish side.Watchit. That ain't flittiness. That's style and grace. And since you know where ya got it we'll be requiring a little more respect....... well, at least for the next 10 minutes or so till I have to go to class.

I don't WANT to know how you found that picture.
And I could have lived without seeing it.
To: RosieCotton
It sounds the same. Beer 'n Brat is a brand here that is loaded with horseradish. It'll make your eyes water. And I love it. It's good on just about everything!!!
