Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

My bar-freeping days are coming to an end here pretty soon though. I just signed a lease for an apartment nearby the office, to be my mid-week crashpad. Once I get DSL I'll be able freep from there...

Then they left again. I'm back for a few minutes. Luke is snacking. I've got some paperwork I have to finish tonite, so I'll probably try to avoid that by playing here...

Evening all.
Rose; Something like 'beware, the drarves' a battle cry, often the last thing the orc hears before the 'swoosh' of the ax.
Good day on the turnpike - as usual kept my eye peeled for rare and/or exotic plants and wildlife whilst tromping up and down the slopes peering in culverts and taking measurements on streams. But the really good part was finding an almost perfect vise-grip, a nearly new roll of electric tape and a new cargo strap. How's that g'nad?
The downside was Samantha sniffing me with 'where the heck have you been' a shower took care of that. Also no ticks, all in all an excellent day.
Been a lot of spamming I see with a few good pictures, yup, she got feet.
The haircut looks good. The pony cam is up and running, excellent.
Welcome back, Wneighbor, seems 100 degrees do dry out your garden.
Corin, my sympathies for joining the freepless at work bunch. Try lurking at noon, that's generally available, least ways when you're in the office and not dueling with trolls.
And we need to take Samantha for the walk.
