I am not sure just when an election would have to be held to replace Lott idf he resigned from thte Senate. I didn't know anyone was talking about him resigning from thte senate. Everything I have heard was about him resigning as Senate Majority Leader, but remaining as a Senator from Mississippi.

I don't trust Democrappy Governors and Judges not to steal the seat if he resigns from the Senate.

Can either of you give me some info on digital cameras? Hubby is taking me shopping for one this weekend (Christmas present, won't be a surprise, but I'll have what I want). You had mentioned the Nikon Coolpix before. I don't know much about digitals, but I do know a little about photography. I did a fair bit of amateur photography in the 80's, and did a decent job. I used a Pentax ME with a variety of lenses and filters. I know that 2 megapixels isn't going to be sufficient for me, but I don't want to spend a fortune on a professional quality camera either, since I won't be doing professional work. I just want decent quality photos for myself. When a camera has 2x or 3x digital zoom, what does that mean? Optical zoom? Like I said, I know nothing about digitals. how does that compare to say, a 35mm lens, or a 210, or a 50? What about macro function? Confused...

That is what everyone wants him to do .. but reality is there is a REALLY good chance Lott will resign from the Senate

If he is force to step down as ML over this he will be humilated .. he will never live it down if he stays in the Senate

That is what the big uproar on FR is all about .. Everyone agrees that Lott is an idiot .. a failure as a ML and thinks that he should go .. but many don't don't he to go over this issue .. If the Rats win this they will come after us even more .. plus is puts the control in jeopardy AGAIN ..

This is such a huge mess and I'm not sure how it will play out .. but either way .. IMO Lott is toast
