I hope Taco's surgery goes well and he is back home with you and doing well quickly. Of course, considering the way you dote on him, I am sure he will milk it for all it's worth. LOL! They are so funny and they do know how to manipulate thier humans.
Here's a little kitty angel to watch over Taco tmorrow.
The first sign of the downward spiral...
Update on the surgery: He went in yesterday at 0830 and I think they began about 0900 or so. Surgery took an hour and a half..it went smoothly so it was shorter than I was told to expect which was 2 hours. From wherever they felt they needed to start which must have been the original site of the cyst/tumro, they went 3 cm out all around and 3cm down. They took muscle and fascia and this was sent to the labs. IF the lab results come back NO Cancer..HOPE HOPE...then while they say it is not a cure, because all his other values are good and xrays clear that maybe he will have a nice chance for a good remission..say at least 2 years...
The risk with fibrosarcoma is that it can sprout tentacles which brach out and getting them all is the really tricky part. If Taco has some more cat carefree days that will ge a joy.
He is bandaged up pretty snuggly and is not to move except to his litter box which is just nearby. Well tonite I caught him trying to escape....he managed to scoot to the door. Not good., He is not to move in order to avoid developing a pocket of fluid which would cause a bit of problems...to drain...anyway things are looking up so far. I am grateful to all of you for your care and concern and prayers and kitty angels. Taco says thanks too.
