Back to your comment on the number of people guarding the dignitaries in Queensland I can tell ya a little story. About 10 years ago, our Lawyers Magazine had a job posting in it for a Police Commissioner in Queensland, Aust. So David being a Lawyer and being brought up in a Police household where their house was the actual police station and his father trained all the new young policeman, stated that he was also familiar with the police mindset. His was father was the police chief in several Manitoba communities and their house housed all the new recruits. Well, he was the runner up to this position but in the end they chose someone from within their own department. Both of us were very disappointed at first. And then about 9 months later, we learned that the man that was chosen for the Police Commissioner posting was Assassinated.!! Apparently they have big MOB problems there. Whew! That was close. I believe God kept him from getting that job.

Wow! I'll bet the mob is instrumental in getting the guns out of the hands of good citizens and law enforcement officers, so they are further empowered.

Wow - thanks for that story. I guess the mob has gone global on us. God does good things for us, even when we may not recognize it at the time.

When Police there are willing to do things like hunt down and assasinate the real "Crocidile Dundee" just 3 years after he was Australian man of the Year for what he had done for tourism, anyone could be responsible for assasinating a police chief.
