Wasn't 10 seconds after I hit "post" for the thread than my second-level supervisor yells for a meeting, all agitated and sorts about an e-mail he received from another office that misrepresented a bunch of issues. Had to get him calmed down.

My 2 cents....I don't think what Lott said should have caused the firestorm it did.....(the Dems have said MUCH worse)

..but having said that....IF this meant Lott stepped down from leadership...(& both Krauthammer & Sowell are concurring with that idea)...

..then this could be a silver lining for Republicans....maybe we can have Delay!!!...someone strong!
