Well, I'm guessing he's wearing those zip up tennis shoes because someone told him how 'cool' they are. I'm wondering if he knows how to tie his shoes.

I know a few folks with bad arthuritis in their hands who wear the velcro tennies.... they are not able to make the fingers work early in the morning, and the velcro tennies are a solution. A zipper would be just as difficult as tying I would think, so it's doubtful he's wearing them out of necessity.

All I know is the entire outfit just screams "dork," and I can't help but wonder why, oh why, was this whole football thing staged at all? You'd think x42 would have learned from AlGore that trying to appear the manly jock by pretending to play football - when you're really a nebbish sissy - does nothing to change that perception.
