No solid surface; Jupiter is a gas giant.

I was so lucky back in junior college. I was able to see jupiters moons up close thanks to the equipment in our astromony class. It was awesome..

I never took astronomy in high school or college. In fact, I was terrible in ANY kind of science! But I've just stumbled on this thread and will be checking it out everyday! Never too old to learn and appreciate, right?
