The cake is made, I just have to frost it with the Cool Whip an hour before the party tomorrow night. I even made it in a disposable foil pan so I don't have to hang around and find my baking pan after the dinner is over.

I must be living right. I went looking for an Alpine tree this evening, all sold out at four stores. I found some gold cord that I need, and was standing in line at the fifth store. The cashier asked me if I had found everything, I said "all except for the Alpine trees, you are all out." And the cashier said that a lady had just returned a set of Alpine trees, and did I want to buy them??? Of course I did!!! And so I am now the proud owner of a SET of Alpine trees, a 5', 4', and 3'. The 5' tree will go in my office, and I'll find somewhere for the other two trees. And the set was $39.99, I was prepared to pay that for ONE tree. All in all, I am a happy camper this evening.

Everyone knows my pans. They look like restaurant pans and have a great big fish-hook J on the bottom of them. And I get cranky and disable the PA system to my own designs if mine don't show back up. I'm at 100% so far. GRIN!
Your method works well also. Without the ranting and patting people down and fistfights. ;>)
For loaf bread this weekend, I'm taking the frozen loaves (they are getting better) to cook on-site. In disposable pans.

It's time for me to call it a night.
God bless us all. Each, and every one.

Good morning, lysie! How much snow do you have in total?
My husband is envious. He keeps watching the weather HOPING that the storm will move our way! Ha! He and Mozie would get along great!

Good morning.
I have left a plant pot on our deck untouched by shovel. It looks as though we have about 20 inches on top of the pot.
Plant pot...very scientific way of measuring snow. LOL

Hey Mozie,
Thanks for the update.
I am glad to see Chad Clifton is out. God Bless em as he goes through tough rehabilitation.
Warren Saap continues to be a SOB. I used to think he was a class act, but no longer. He remains a thug, and will truly get his come uppance as the season goes on.
Happy advent!
