In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....
Today is going to a bit different here at WFTD. I call it "the ultimate review". I have linked the WFTD from everyday since September. Students will be required to submit homework that uses a MINIMUM of 3 words from previous WFTD's. The more words you use in your homework, the better your grade. Extra credit will be given to those who submit examples, in the form of links to outside web sites, photos, or other images, along with their homework. Extra credit will also be given to our more poetically inclined students. Hand in your homework in the form of a poem, and your grade will go up.
I will be strict about grading today, so, hand in homework only using the minimum of 3 words, and you will get a minimum effort grade of a C. Failure to turn in homework will result in a meeting with principal JimRob.
Students who have many absences over the past few weeks might want to use this day to improve their overall grades.
You may use any of the forms (noun, adjective, etc.) given that day. I am only listing the first form.

Good Morning Class. Welcome to School!
Thank you, Miss C! It's been 12 years, 11 months and 4 days since a woman last said that to me!!
Actually, I thought around here neck chains were more popular than cuffs. Oh, well, to quote one of the most dreadful James Bond lines ever, as long as the cuffs and collars match...
And just you wait until I come OUT of the closet!
Wait a sec...
uh...
that is, I mean to say...
um...
er...
never mind...!
And she isn't gonna share with the class.
Oh, well, Robt., there's a first time for everything...
I am going to go annoy the fundies today and go see the new Harry Potter movie. LOL
How was your holiday?
Yes they looked worse than the Bengals in the second half.
So, Miss Whyisa, when I come to your neck of the woods to inflict my beastly society on you, just how long will I have to hang around to get what I want?
:^)
Well the sun is up, I guess that means it's time for me to catch some sleep....
