sort of like Moynihan without a sense of humour. Moynihan is funnier and wittier drunk or sober than Adlai ever was. Hell, Dukakis and Mondale are funnier than Stevenson was on his best day.

*L* Accusing Dukakis of being funny is one of the funniest things I've ever read. I will say that the photos of him riding in a tank to prove he is pro-military during his campaign were worth a few laughs.
