Well, yes my little darlings are quite spoiled and why not? But the little sweater thing is really just a sort of stretchy thing probably used for castings or something but he had surgery just between his shoulder blades. So to keep him from scratching at the bandage there he has to wear this little thing largely to keep the wound area clean and protected. In addition, Taco is a long haired kitty and he is pretty bald at the moment! So maybe it will keep body heat in too. The stitches are the kind that dissolve.
Yes..neighbor kitties have been known to come visit. That is how we see EbonieAnne and Mr. Peepers from time to time...they live in our yard most of the time and yes they have little food bowls too...The hubby who always calles em "creep" is the one who lures them in...says he doesn't like cats..His nose is growing too!:)

lol that is just like my husband. He always called Amigo the Mexican jerk!! But he was awfully upset and tried very hard to hide it when we lost him. Also, the new one that arrived at my door 6 weeks ago. Just a kitten, but would not leave and he did not belong to anybody on my street. So Mark and I snuck him in for 6 nights and shut him in the computer room. Finally I told him the kitten was staying. He said "OH GOD"!! and walked off but guess what. He named him and now "Buttons" follows David everywhere. He has become HIS cat. Hilarious isn't it. Why do they have to pretend that they don't care about these creatures??? Is that a testosterone thingy?? I don't get it. But whatever works besides he knows if it comes to a cat that has no home, he's gonna lose the battle with me. LOL
