Yet there is nothing 'plus-sized' about Carrie Otis, who today is a size 12.I remember reading an article a few year ago about "plus-size" models. One of them was a size 12. Imagine that. A tall woman, a size 12. She looked normal to me. And they went on and on about this "plus-size" woman. I was just astoneded. She's huge because you can't see your shoulder blades and clavicle sticking through her skin? Good lord. And this is supposed to make "normal size" women feel better about themselves? Just disgusting.

I wrote something similar in a message to the English professor about that article. He says not to worry... women with curves like mine will always appeal to men naturally and that the skinny models are a contrived ideal ... what a line, eh? *L* Not gonna work.... but I like hearing it.
