Couldn't agree more CG. Vexing huh? Amongst all those "other" things we have to contend with in life. Sheesh. How's your baby today?
Well, Taco is doing nicely. I have not told him yet that he has to have more surgery....I just hate the idea of having to take him in and just before we are to go to VA for the holiday. But fibrosarcoma is a very aggressive cancer and although the "cyst" margins were clean and no cancer cells were found in 2 lab reports, the protocaol for this is wide margins so it means looking at some muscle and bone tissue. having this between the shoulder blades is a bad spot. If it were the leg, it could be amputated and a cure pretty well guaranteed. But between shoulderblades is is much more tricky. Taco has always been healthy..never sick...never been in a fight...and so because the needle did not get cancer cells we are hoping that no cells escaped althought I have been told that this type of cancer has tentacles llike an octapus so.....if the margins are clean we can hope for a couple more years for him. If not...and of course if the chest xray of lung and bone show cancer then there is nothing to do but keep Taco comfortable for as long as possible.
apart from our anniversary trip to england, this year has been pretty sucky.
OBTW...the folks whose dog chased Yummie out of our yard have a kitten of 7 months missing......poor kitty...if I find it.....maybe I'll just hide it...in my house....nah I'd give it back but not with out a strong lecture on what their dog did.....humph
