BILL Clinton made a celebrated trip to McDonald's when he attended the Labour Party conference in Blackpool but this week it was his bodyguards' turn for fast food.
Bill and Hillary were staying at the Randolph Hotel in Oxford with no fewer than 20 Secret Service agents. But when the time came for the goons to refuel, they declined the hotel food. Instead two agents nipped out to a nearby branch of Burger King and returned laden down with Big Whoppers.

I'm betting the Whoppers were for Blubba himself, not his throng of taxpayer-furnished bodyguards. FYI, the Randolph Hotel rates reportedly are: Suites - From £255 to £555 Bed and Breakfast (that's about $400-900; presumably, the presidential suite is the one that's closest to $1,000 per night); the rooms for the Secret Service agents run about £175.00 each, not including breakfast ($275). Your tax dollars at work!
Catty remarks from the Daily Record, a Brit newspaper:
THEY say that a year is a long time in politics - and the lines around Hillary Clinton's eyes proved that yesterday. The New York senator and her hubby, ex-president Bill Clinton, are in the UK to visit daughter Chelsea, who's studying at Oxford University It's only a few short months since Hillary looked glam and groomed for success in the race for a seat in the Senate. link
