Landru: They go after the punk, say, within the next year beginning today...Tuesday August 13th, 2002? "I'll FedEx ya a case of Hienekens, a case of Milwaukee's finest bratwursts (fresh from the elfs at Usinger's ~you'll have to supply your own buns & condiments...), & a box of Garcia & Vegas' best."
Slim: Yer on, my FRiend...beer, brats and stoagies will provide much motivation fer the late night FReepin' excapades!!
Landru: "If they *don't*?? I'd like to know what I'll be getting from the Mud Cave out there in ol' Virginny?"
Slim: Hmmmm...on the unlikely chance that our efforts fail, I'll gladly send you a case of Legends Ale (good stuff from the local microbrewery), a big ol' Smithfield Ham, and a box of Macanudos.

The Status:
Today, November 13, 2002, marks the end of the first quarter of this infamous bet from Black IX. As the appointed judge, I, the fair and unbalanced Sultan, do hereby report that on Day 91 of this year-long wager, Terry McAuliffe has not been indicted. Therefore, Landru is winning, (unfortunately).
Mudboy Slim continues his losing ways.

Time for the week 11 wager update!
Yesterday's results are as follows:
*Deadskins 20 : Shams 17 (ya ducked a bullet, buster...)
*Steelers 29 : Shingles 21
With both teams winning their respective games, the Steelers maintain their game & a half lead going into week 12.
The Sultan, therefore, maintains his lead on the wager for a *big* limo night on the town at the eatery of the winner's choice *somewhere* in the metropolis of Richmond, VA.
