I didn't like the war in Viet Nam, though.

I didn't like the way McNamara and Johnson ran it. Nixon had the balls to invade Cambodia and bomb Hanoi.

I loved Nixon. He's not a beloved statesman, but he was a good man. I've been to his Presidential Library in Whittier, CA, a few times. It's so down to earth. You have his voice saying, "This is where my mom beat the egg whites for the angel food cake. The angels helped her." Of course, that was way before electric mixers. She beat them outside on the back porch with a whisk.

It surely sounds as if he came from a wonderful family.

Nixon had the balls to invade Cambodia and bomb Hanoi.

Yup. Put that together with his defense of Chambers, and the outing of close Graham friend Hiss, and one gains a good amount of insight into the Lefts desire to destroy, and demonize him.

I agree Nixon was a good man. He just got some bad advice along the way.

The Kennedys and the liberals hated him. They would do anything (and they did) to demonize the man.

I think his distrust of politicians did him in. In Washington, D.C., you need politicians.

I think his hatred and distrust of J. Edgar Hoover had a lot to do with his downfall as well.

Michelle Malkin is a great writer and conservative. How sad for Christine Aguilera. She has/had such a beautiful voice.

What I find particularly appalling, aside form the fact that the Commieposts Owners having a tight social relationship with Hiss, and vowing years later to Bring Nixon Down, was that the chief instrument, was Rodino from N.J.

Imagine the absolute Gall of that, A Democrat Politician from NJ calling someone corrupt.

A Democrat Politician from NJ calling someone corrupt.

And the Clinton Administration calling itself, "The most ethical Administration in History."

It's not as thick as it used to be, but still noticeable. The first time I talked to xs on the phone, she said, "Wow you really do have a southern accent."
