There should be a law passed that would put a restriction on the number of times that Fox News Channel is allowed to use the phrase "THIS IS A FOX NEWS ALERT" in any 24 hour period, because it appears to me that they think every story is worthy of an alert. I mean, come ON, is Alan Greenspan testifying about the economy that unusual? Isn't that part of his job? Is the President getting on/off Marine 1 or AirForce 1 that spectacular?

If they keep it up, they are going to have to have "levels" of Fox News Alerts like the color-coded Terrorist Threat levels. Before you know it, they'll have 5 different types of 'FOX NEWS ALERTS' and the most serious of stories will require FNC to use the "THIS IS A SUPER DUPER REALLY SCARY YOU'LL NEVER BELIEVE THIS SO YOU BETTER SIT DOWN FOX NEWS ALERT".

I am going to send them a copy of the story, "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" along with a suggestion that they actually read it. Sheesh.

The worst was the Fox News alert for the dog rescue, complete with aerial shots from a copter. I am all for rescuing dogs, but it did NOT need the Alert. I am with you on this!!
