Good Morning all...
A wet, cold, windy day in Floridaland.

Busy day for me....

**Molly**...all....a dear friend of ours from our old church is seriously ill in the hospital....having had a stroke the night before and fell while his wife was sleeping....and no one found him for 5 hours.

He's had surgery, but it doesn't look good.

He's in his 70's.....Molly, he was on the beach at Normandy on D Day.
It's something he can't even talk about.
His daughter, my good friend (a Magnolia)...says he has tried to talk about it in the past, and just ends up crying.

Well, this old soldier and very good Christian man is quite ill now.....and the family has gathered.

We love him especially, as when we first joined our old church, and hubby was a new Christian, this man befriended him and always watched out for him.

I made my plans for today...a busy day....but God changes our plans quite often, and I wait to see how I'm needed in this situation.

Frank went by the hospital last night, but they were only letting family in, as he is in Intensive Care.

John, when I saw the beer sorbet, it did look a little soft.

Nita, I'm going to try your Beer Braised Roast. It sounds so good. This will be next Monday, when our boys are over for a round of golf with gramps. I get to stay home on those day and cook but other times I get to play too. hehe.
