You're not the bottom of the barrel. Go to church, get involved. Take temp work, sometimes it's the best way to get jump-started. So what if the temp jobs are below your expectations, you might be surprised at how things work out. "Despise not the day of small beginnings."

Thanks for the advice. Will take it into consideration.

Played in music group at church. Felt good to get involved.

I have found about 30 job leads so far. Followed up on about 10 today.

Thanks for all the prayers.

Thank you Johnny. I'm continually amazed that when someone admit's they've been wrong, THEN the sharks come out.

Seems to be a way of being "holier than thou"; a way of making themselves feel better at the expense of another.

Thing was; no one needed to bash Genesis Defender. He did a bang-up job of doing that to himself.

I've met Genesis Defender and his wife and son. I didn't know that the marriage was in trouble. For whatever reason, he was remiss in his obligations. It takes a lot of courage to admit you have a problem; I just wish he'd come to this point BEFORE the wife gave him that ultimatum.

If you take take take from a woman she will give give give until she runs dry. Then all she has is bitterness and a sense of martyrdom. It will take a LOT from Gen to gain his wife's trust. Hopefully both parties will realize that they MUST do what is best for THE CHILD.

P.S. He has taken seasonal employment. It's a start.

I'm so glad he's found something.

If you know his first name, could you Freepmail me?

I can use that to put his name in for intercessions at church
tomorrow. If I don't hear from you, I guess I'll use "Gen".

In any case, I agree 100% about the bashing.

Paul
