Former VP Mondale is still calling him Norman. That's Senator-Elect Colman, Fritz.
A Freeper pointed out on another thread that Mondale is the only candidate that has lost all 50 states.
As I mentioned on last night's live thread, this GOP Senate now means that Hillary will have to vacate her sumptious office provided by Daschle.
Even though I finally went to bed at 5am, I'm feeling just FINE!

Say, has anybody heard anything from bill 'n hill this morning??
Not that I care............
To: MozartLover
Bill will finally have time to spend with his dog.....Seamus, not Hillary.
Hil is probably pushing boxes on a trolley to her new office.....in the basement.
LOL.

That was the finest memorial service I have ever seen for Wellstone, need to have more of them. AND Terrible Mc said he was NOT stepping down, glad to hear that. Mary L in new orleans needs to have 'Zip' come down and help her, she would have a stroke if he did come.

Sheesh, whats the difference anyhow.

The DU types have this forum called "Politics and Campaigns".
If you clik on it, up comes:
Forum is currently offline for maintenance.
BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

There you have it. A quick take. President Bush wins because he has fixed the failings of the previous administration. America knows it. They responded in gratitude.
Great analysis - thanks for the link.

You are right about it being about the money for the Dems -- and people are already talking about how Hanoi Jane's vow of poverty (because of the market downturn) caused the Dems financial ruin.
I don't know if the Dem business leaders/backers are capable of taking control of that party, because I think they were along for the ride out of cynicism all along. If they get a deal from the GOP, then I think they will forget all about Slick.
I was talking about avoiding embarassment, though, originally. Sooner or later they are gonna realize that sending Bubba out there to front for candidates ain't gonna git it for them any more, and that will be a clash of the Titans, when they have to sit Der Schlickmeister down to explain that he can't hang with Bush!!!

You're right. They're nobody. Let the record show that on November 6, 2002, UOx42 and 97 are politically equivalent to that greasy spot on the desert in Yemen.

What you say is true, but I remember both '82 and '84....And as much as I love Reagan, he didn't go out much to campaign for the local Rs. especially in '84 when he had the popularity to do so....THIS President did it, flying in the face of tradition and the usual midterm trends.A new tenet of the Bush Doctrine? Either you are with us or you are with the enemy .......
