To: Iowa Granny
Well, you old ding bat,,, this Jim Stone fella's fame was short lived. Now it appears Jesse is appointing someone by the name of Blakley.
Can someone please sort out the details.
To: Chairman_December_19th_Society; *ATRW

i HAVE no IDEA who he named.......can anyone help me out here?
I keep hearing different reports!!!

IT'S...
SENATOR BY COMMITTEE
To: Chairman_December_19th_Society
No, it's Barkely.
Ventura says he will never again "attend a political funeral unless it's in a church."

I cannot believe that Mondale keeps calling the murder of unborn babies a fundamental Constitutional right! What Constitution has he been reading??......certainly not ours!
IMO, Coleman is beating him hands down because of his civility. If the people of Minnesota can see and hear, Coleman should win this election. (Please Lord, may it be so!)

I didn't know Moondale had palsey, look at this hands when he is talking, shaking lide a leaf He is NERVOUS!

Meanwhile back at the debate,
Coleman scored some good points by attacking Mondale's "tone" as not being "what we need in Washington". (Mondale had gotten off some personal shots at Coleman).
They discussed partial birth abortion and coleman brought up the fact that losing two babies has made him ardently pro-life. Mondale used the term "right-to-lifer" in a derogatory fashion in describing Coleman. Coleman asked "can't we at least find common ground" on PBA? Mondale wouldn't budge. SO.....I guess that line has been clearly drawn.....

Now discussing homeland security bill......Mondale bringing up his experience in the Senate...........says the Prez must be willing to bend.
Coleman: points out that during times of national security crises, the prez has always had the power to hire whoever he wants.
To: *ATRW
Now talking about Iraq.........Mondale says he would have voted against the resolution authorizing use of force......
Says he thinks Powell agrees with him.....but there are "hawks" around the administration thwarting him....

Good morning you wonderful people. I have been lurking longer than I care to let any of you know. Ha! I have cried and laughed with each one of you and all your many experiences. I am a nervous wreck posting this--I hope it works. I am from Texas- I have been a George W. Bush fan for a long time. In fact I had the pleasure of going to his second inauguration for governor! I have learned many things from all of ya'll. But the support and prayers you give each other are overwhelming. I truly believe in the power of prayer. Molly Pitcher your idea of the 5:00 prayer time
is wonderful. I will be praying all day but especially at that time. Well I believe I have rattled on enough. I just hopes this works.

"Come sit by me," she said, "I have a nice alluminum cane I'll use to trip the nasty ones if they get too rowdy".

Well, the debate is over. Tony Snow: Coleman was deferential and polite. Mondale took the offense.
