I was out of candy by 7:15 last night while the wife was out taking the girls around the neighborhood. As I was setting the bowl down getting ready to turn the porch light off somemore kids show up.... so I told them they'd have to trick me instead since I was out of candy. They had no idea what I was talking about. Even shutting off your lights don't deter some kids, though... I probably got 3 or 4 more sets ringing the doorbell in the dark.

Only one trick or treater braved the single degree cold to come to the tarpaper shack last night. A cute little five year old girl dressed as a Power Puff Girl.

heck i don't think we HAD a trick or treater much before 7pm! and i was giving out huge fistfuls of candy because i figured that we would not get many kids. The xsgirls said that a lot of people had just left bowls of candy on the porch to help themselves, because they must have been out with their own kids. xspup and i stayed home to give out the candy.
