CHELSEA Clinton has craftily worked out a way to spend nights with her lover away from the gaze of nosy fellow students, I can reveal.

Her boyfriend Ian Klause has moved into a rented £350,000 terraced house in Oxford's fashionable Jericho district, just two minutes away from the Leckford Road house where Chelsea's father Bill lived as a student in the late 60s.

While Chelsea officially remains a resident of University College - in keeping with the former president's wishes - Klause's move will enable them to spend time together away from the hothouse of college life. The move to the house, which Klause shares with at least one other student, will be a relief to the couple who had been forced to divide their time between her rooms and his at Jesus College a quarter of a mile away.

As I reported last week, this led to an embarrassing incident last term when the college fire alarm went off and Chelsea was forced to shiver on the quad in a baggy pair of men's pyjamas until the Fire Brigade gave the all clear.

Sanfrantastic! I am glad you had a great lunch at Threadgill's. Did you go to the "original?"

I just got back from Chicago - very profitable day but I am tired. Took almost 4 hours to get home due to the traffic. The usual trip is just under 3.

I am praying we have a terrific day next Tuesday. I will be in DC and if we don't win the Senate, I'm going over to Abe's statue and cry. It is so dirty here in IL - the ads are absolutely ludicrous. I will be so glad when Tuesday gets here.

"I'll put a good word in for you with Santa about the Italian siren Monica Belluci. Maybe we'll both get what we want."

Honey, if you can pull all that off, I have a request: I want to own the sailing yacht, Endeavour, that that creep from Tyco currently owns. I keep waiting for her to be put on the market to pay back some of the people he stole from, but haven't seen her become available as yet.

And - while you're working miracles, could you have her gift wrapped for me and at the end of the dock (Navy Pier) in Chicago? Just one huge golden bow across her bow.

Is anyone watching the Oklahoma governor's debate on CSPAN? The idiot democrat has to be dumbest rock ever turned up under a horse apple pile.

Good morning! Just a few days to go.

Furious campaigning by former President Bill Clinton, former Vice President Al Gore and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton has turned the midterm elections into as much of a referendum on the old Clinton-Gore platform as one on President Bush, analysts say.

"It's a referendum on the Democratic Party that Clinton and Gore left behind — and there's not much there," said Republican political strategist Rich Galen, publisher of mullings.com. "This is still the Democratic Party that Bill Clinton built and that Al Gore wants to wrest away from him — and that Hillary is trying to prevent Gore from wresting away." Washington Times

We certainly have our work cut out for us, especially when we have to overcome the voter fraud committed by the Dems! CBN suggests the following prayer points (in conjunction with our hard work, of course):

With the future of America’s judiciary, the unborn, and so many critical issues at stake, pray that every single Christian will be convicted to vote.

Pray that all U.S. citizens would become educated on the issues and vote for righteous leaders on Tuesday's elections.

Pray that the elections would turn the Congress in a more godly direction, that our government would begin to honor God with righteous and responsible legislation.

Pray that this election would plant the seeds for a true spiritual revival in the hearts of all our government leaders.

Pray that media coverage of the elections and campaigns would be balanced and fair. Pray that media outlets would not announce election results prematurely and interfere with the voting process like they did in 2000.

Pray that election results would be clear, that the true winner of each election would be indisputable, and that America would not be subjected to divisive attempts to contest the votes.

Pray that the foundations of our republic would not be eroded by frivolous court battles. Since this election represents a major turning point toward good or evil in our nation, pray against the principalities and powers of darkness that seek to bring confusion, deception, and destroy America’s godly foundation. CBN

Thanks mountaineer, I've printed out those prayer points for quick and easy reference.

I'm off to give the house a good cleaning, I have a group of friends coming over in a week and a half for a party.

You can't believe how messy a house that has seven people in it can get!

Ahem. If you have 7 people living there, for the life of me, I cannot understand why you are cleaning a week and a half in advance of houseguests. It's all going to need it again before your event, unless the 7 are very different than the 3 still residing here.

That Clinton goes ballistic story reminds me of a photo from when he was in Ghana during his first term. What a vile-tempered man he must be.

And here's another photo from an especially bad day for him, right after he was impeached. I wouldn't have wanted to be Buddy or Socks that day.

IG, I'm doing all the fun stuff today. Cleaning ceiling fans, windows, window blinds, curtains, stray crayon marks from the walls, wiping baseboards, etc; and I am making them help!

All the other stuff can wait.

Well, I just knew there was a valid reason why I don't have any ceiling fans. What a novel idea,, cleaning fan blades. Something I would have never considered needed to be done.

Good luck with the stray crayon marks. I remember that stage of my life,,,, vaguely. Basically, I remember being curled up in a fetal position in a corner weeping,,, and occasionally lifting my head to shout: "Sweetheart, please don't chase you brother with a butcher knife".

House cleaning? What's that? I'm trying to make a tarte tatin at the moment. When Timeout and I met for lunch in Paris last month, there were four elderly folks at the next table. Their dessert was whopping slabs of Tarte Tatin (apple upside down tart), along with a huge bowl of whipped cream and a giant tub of creme fraiche. The pie was served "flambeed" with Calvados (apple brandy). It was quite a spectacle, which I am attempting to duplicate. Lotsa luck!

IG - you would not believe the gunk that will accumulate on ceiling fan, or any fans, blades. True grunge.

Tarte Tatin

I guess everything under the sun has its own website now.

M - enjoy, it's in French.
