In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....
vituperate\vy-TOO-puh-rate\, verb:
To find fault with; to scold; to overwhelm with wordy abuse; to censure severely or abusively; to rate.
The incensed priests...
continued to raise their voices,
vituperating each other in bad Latin.
--Sir Walter Scott, Ivanhoe Etymology: Vituperate comes from Latin vitupero, vituperare, to scold, blame, censure.

Don't let them take away your coffee..... I am feeling very sorry for myself this morning, but I need to go to work anyway, and not back to bed, although I am not sure how much work I will actually get done, being so bleary-eyed. I have been up for hours now and it is not helping.

In Arkansas one can vituperate
The
dems as the roam through the state
To sign up a business,
Dead from the census,
And vote early so they can vote late.

Got Batteries ? ....Okay, okay - I'm not usually confused (.... Rika looks up in amazement ...) but ya got me bushwacked with this one.
I understand why you need batteries ....
but where do they get inserted?
How far do they go in?
How do you ride that thing ... and what do you hold on to when you ride it when you have a partner? ( With chaps, leathers and thongs ... You know, motorcycle style? Maybe we should check with Sea on that) ?
When you're flying with the curvy parts all snug and tight, don't the bristles get in your teeth?
Does it go up and down, left-right, or kind of wiggly?
Finally ....
What fits in the slot best? Are they Double-AA cells, C-cells, or Double-DD extra-wide cells?
How long does a batery set last? (All weekend? Or just a few hours?

I was just diagnosed with this heart thing - I'm ok - but caffeine is a no-no... That would put me in tears. I wake up to Mtn Dew.
To: SCalGal

Quitting like that though costs him completely.
I'd counter the hairdressing thing by saying that Max Baucus is from the party of gays.

I never knew the meaning of Mountain Dew before Cyber told me it was filled with caffeine. I always wondered why my nephews and nieces could even swallow that stuff.

IT is becoming apparent, and Republicans had better learn this soon, That no Ad is too low, and no shot too cheap.
Sure the press might scream about it, but lets face it, the voters at either end of the spectrum are apathetic about the means, and of those in the middle , i suspect 80% are too dumb to have an opinion based on rational thought, and need that kind of hammering to form any opinion whatsoever.
the Day of Whack-A-Mole politics is dawning.
Get in the game or get Whacked Off!
