On its way to publication is the book, "Bush's Brain: How Karl Rove Made George W. Bush Presidential." Political journalists James Moore (Emmy-winning news correspondent from Austin) and Wayne Slater (Dallas Morning News bureau chief who covered Dubya for 18 months) remind us that Rove, Bush's brain, picked Dubya to run for governor of Texas, tutored him on government's workings, ran the campaigns that eventually put him in the White House. They tell us the Bush machine is run by Bush Brain Rove, who created him and keeps him on top. They call White House senior adviser Karl Rove the one calling the shots at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Look, they're saying it - not me. Don't pick on me. The book says Bush Brain Rove's decisions determine U.S. policy and leave everyone wondering who's really running the country.
It's out next summer.
