TED McGINLEY...
Jump the Shark's Patron Saint
Ted is the patron saint of shark jumping. Chances are that if Ted is anywhere near your cast, consider the show on the downward spiral. That's not to take away from Ted's fine acting skills. Consensus here enjoys Ted more on the big screen (Revenge of the Nerds) than on our sets. Then again, we wouldn't have a patron saint...thanks Ted!
Never Jumped
An overwhelming majority of "Never Jumped" votes is required for safe passage here. And you've got to have more than a handful of total votes as well. We present the few, the proud...

Back in the 80's I loved "The Equalizer." I wish I could say it never jumped, but after Edward Woodward had his heart attack and they added Richard Jordon to the cast, things went downhill. Mickey Kostmayer (Keith Szarabajka) was given less face time when the Harley Gage character (Jordon) joined the cast, something that did not make me happy. (Mickey had a great, sarcastic wit and was charming in a naughty boy kind of way) The show became too preachy on social issues, they even had an episode about gun control that guest starred Sally Jesse Raphael! I still have all my taped episodes and I love them all, but the show did jump. (tears:(

Clintoon is such a blight on this country, we'll be cleaning up his messes for years to come.
I will throw a party the day he dies.
To: BigWaveBetty; Miss Marple
Miss Marple, you must tell BigWaveBetty what you plan to do when x42 dies...(this is so good.)

I never did get to watch that show but was intrigued by it. I wish they'd run it in reruns somewhere.
If anyone watching Beladummy on MSNBC I hope you've got a strong stomach. Harry is completely outrageous!!!!
To: Endeavor
Yes I agree about ER! Carol (Julianna Marguilies) was sooo good on ER, and her last episode was excellent.
To: Endeavor
Carol Hatthaway. Can't remember her real name.
Now the Dummy on Donahue is disparaging Condi Rice!

Actually, I thought Ellen's coming out show was very good. Unfortunately, the entire next season dealt with Ellen being gay. I don't need to know all about Ellen being gay. I don't mind knowing something about Ellen being gay, but Ellen became a zealot and that was a turn-off.
I think she's really quite funny when she stays away from gutter humor. I've seen her do extremely funny stuff that happened to be appropriate for all audiences. I've seen her make a jack#ss of herself on Letterman being crude, vulgar - it was after the Heche breakup.
I also liked Rosie when she was "nicer." We all look pretty rotten in our worst moments. We're just lucky our worst moments aren't played out in international gossip rags and on the 6 o'clock news.
I'm not taking up for these two women's more obnoxious moments. I do appreciate their talent and wish them well. Which is probably a helluva lot more than they wish me - a conservative woman.

We will have such a wonderful time!!! Can't hardly wait!
Your right about Ellen, didn't care about her gayness, just didn't want to see/hear her whine about it every week.

Re: Ellen and Rosie. I agree with your comments. Those two women can be extremely funny. But for some reason, when they came out (and it has happened to others), their total focus is their sexual orientation. Quite honestly, it gets to be old. I knew they were both lesbians before they "officially" came out. I thought they were funny anyway. Oh well...
To: Endeavor
Thanks. I really try hard not to hate anyone, but I really do hate that icky couple. I despise them and their cohorts and what they did to this great nation for eight years. I see either one of them on TV or in a photo, and that old rage just comes roaring back. God help us all if the Hildabeast ever becomes prez. I honestly think that America as a nation would not survive her.

Onedin Line A show about a capitalist shipping tycoon ran 9 years.
jumped the final year. reason "exit. stage left": (cast member leaves.)
There were a lot of changes over the years, but it just couldn't survive the departure of the star, Charlotte Rhodes

As a wooden boat fanatic, I'm sorry never to have seen the show.
