I am a liberalwho was banned from DU today along with many others for refusing to support Dems who voted for the war.

I am not here to disrupt your board, I promise I won't even hang around after this post but, I thought you guys might find it interesting that DU has become what they accuse you guys of being.

I donated to DU and had contributed for well over a year and was banned without so much as a warning.

Skinner is complete ass and does not deserve the support of anyone much less loyal liberals.

I thought you guys might wantto rub this in their face a bit.

They actually think this will help them in Nov.

You see...here is the dark secret that don't won't known...when the ban someone, they don't remove them from the record like 99% of most bulletin boards do.

I was wondering if I was the only one who experienced this. I appear to be a member, but I cannot log in. I can request a password and receive it via e-mail, but when I try to log in I get "Error has occured, try later".

Do you think that if we arranged a mass simultaneous password request from all the banned members that we could crash their server? Hmmm...

I logged into DU openly in a hope that I could open a dialog to identify and accentuate our similarities, rather than the differences, but I only lasted 6 posts before getting banned.

Well, so much for my idea of going over there for a debate..

Especially that little brainless twit named Matco.

Anyone notice that over here, we use metaphors like "Twit" and "Moron" and we try and censor profanities like "Sh*t" and "F**k"? Then go over there and read? It's like being in a Singapore nightclub full of sailors (I speak from experience).

Well, they booted a guy calling himself "USMCVet"(I think) for simply posting something like, "I'm a freeper and I just wanted to come over and see what the other side thinks" or something like that. He mentions his age, status, all the niceness of a greeting you could imagine...

They booted him off even AFTER a couple of DUers were in the middle of a "Welcome" to the newcomer.
