It would be well worth it, not just for the 12+ hours of goodies in this packages, but think of the Two Towers and Return of the King Special Editions too, and who knows, maybe even more Extra Special Collectors Edtion DVD's. By the time this whole thing is over, there'll probably about a week's worth of video released on DVD!
