This means that if they can get a scientist, any scientist, to make a statement that even remotely appears to agree with them-- they use it. They say, "See, a scientist, an authority, disagrees with evolution!" The problem is that science is not a process run on authority. Science has no Pope. Arguments are won on their quality-- not the popularity, fame or even quantity (just because you say it over and over again doesnt make it true).
