Just dropped in for minute but I see the usual suspects are about.

Hey xs, I saw two guys carrying scoped rifles in a white Chevy van this morning.

Oh Yeah. Deer and antelope season opened today.

don't think they could have made it quite that far that fast!

Today, virtually every vehicle's occupants are carrying scoped rifles out here.

Pretty good. We had an inch of snow last night but it had all melted off by noon.

well every other vehicle here is a white van! xsbrownie is sure she has spotted the sniper several times already. so are you hunting today?

i am doing laundry, cooking and making bread. are you impressed with me?

I'm a bird hunter, remember? Due to construction at the tar paper shack, my hunting boat is blocked in the garage. There were 20 or so geese in my neighbor's yard but he gets mad if I sneak over and shoot them.

i didn't realize that your specialty was so...narrow. heck, throw a net over them and pull them into your yard to shoot!

there are tons of helicopters buzzing us here, guess they are hunting, in a manner of speaking, also...

Y&es, the rosy breasted pushover, and the golden cested whatchamacallit.

Those too but this time of year it's ducks and geese. I'm going swan hunting in a couple of weeks. Not tame ones like in the park but genuine wild tundra swans.
