In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....
The enemy has been engaged, and Saddam just pooped his pants! As we continue our battle, remember why we are fighting. The Eagle is awake and demanding retribution. As our President said, We will not negotiate!. We will not forget. Just like we Did not forget to repay those that perpetrated the Attack On Pearl Harbor....

A congress of
wiener dogs... Interesting. Now that I had a job to do, I walked up to Gooster and Lulu, both dachshunds. Gooster was dressed in a Jets sports T-shirt, and Lulu was dressed as a fairy, with pink wings and everything. I really wanted to ask, "Why? Why do this to your dog?" but the question, "Why didn't you dress up your dog?" would have been more appropriate, as more than half the dachshunds there were sporting some kind of costume

Thank you.
I bet the citizens in Congress, AZ and in Congress, OH will be proud that their former president, Jimmy Carter, while accepting the nobel peace prize, referred to himself no less than 6 times in one sentence. Democrats.
"When I was at the White House I was a fairly young man and I realized I would have maybe 25 more years of active life," Carter said, adding that he decided to "capitalize on the influence I had as the former president of the greatest nation of the world and dcided to fill vacuums."
